Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized dining experiences in accordance with ultra-luxury hospitality standards and brand guidelines.
- Independently manage a designated service station and ensure flawless guest experience from greeting to farewell.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of menus, ingredients, cooking methods, allergens, and beverage pairings to confidently guide guests.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional, elegant, and timely manner, ensuring correct presentation, temperature, and sequence of service.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, offering discreet, intuitive, and proactive service at all times.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with UAE regulations and HACCP policies.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with courtesy, empathy, and efficiency, ensuring immediate resolution or escalation when required.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure seamless service flow and flawless guest experiences.
- Accurately process orders using the POS system, ensuring billing accuracy and compliance with hotel procedures.
- Uphold grooming, uniform, and etiquette standards expected in an ultra-luxury environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, equipment, and back-of-house spaces at all times.
- Actively contribute to upselling premium food and beverage items while enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Build rapport with guests, recognize repeat and VIP guests, and adapt service to individual preferences.
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery independently and professionally.
- Mentor and support F&B Attendants and junior staff during service.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter in a 5★ hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of international service standards and luxury etiquette.
- Confident English communication skills (additional languages are an advantage).
- Strong upselling and guest engagement skills.
- High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Well-groomed appearance and excellent personal presentation.
