Responsibilities

• Maintain highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and equipment in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure correct sorting, handling, and disposal of waste, including food waste and recyclables, following hotel and UAE regulations.
• Keep dishwashing areas, pot wash areas, and cleaning stations organized, safe, and operational at all times.
• Support kitchen and F&B teams by ensuring continuous availability of clean equipment during service.
• Assist with basic kitchen support tasks such as moving supplies, refilling stations, and organizing storage areas.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures strictly at all times.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and correctly, following MSDS and hotel guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the Stewarding Supervisor.
• Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards according to hotel policy.
• Support cleaning operations during banquets, events, and high-volume service periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a 5★ hotel or large kitchen operation at least 1 year.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long hours.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Basic English language skills.
