Responsibilities
- Serve non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests. Mix classic cocktails and create custom drinks as needed.
- Greet customers warmly and take drink orders efficiently. Offer recommendations based on guest preferences. Engage with guests to create a welcoming and lively atmosphere. Handle customer concerns or complaints politely and professionally.
- Payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and give correct change. Monitor stock levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and supplies.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and sanitary. Clean glassware, tools, and equipment during and after service. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food and drink service.
Requirements
- Experience 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or event setting (entry-level possible in some venues with training). Experience in cocktail preparation and classic drink knowledge. Familiarity with bar tools, pouring techniques, and drink presentation.
- Good numeracy and basic cash handling skills. Ability to work with POS systems and digital ordering tools. Multitasking under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Personal Qualities Sociable and friendly personality. Strong attention to detail and presentation skills. High level of responsibility and reliability. Ability to stay calm in fast-paced or high-pressure environments. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
