Responsibilities
- Luggage Assistance: Assist guests with carrying, delivering, and storing their luggage upon arrival and departure.
- Guest Escorting: Escort guests to their rooms, explaining room features and hotel amenities.
- Providing Information: Offer directions, information about hotel services, and recommendations for local attractions.
- Valet Services: Park and retrieve guest vehicles if valet services are required.
- Handling Deliveries: Deliver packages, messages, or other items to guest rooms promptly.
- Maintaining Lobby Areas: Ensure the lobby and entrance areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Security Awareness: Monitor the premises to ensure the safety of guests and their belongings.
- Special Requests: Assist with additional guest needs, such as arranging transportation or securing special items.
Requirements
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- Customer Service Skills: Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication to provide directions and respond to guest inquiries.
- Knowledge of the Property: Familiarity with hotel facilities, room locations, and amenities.
- Punctuality and Reliability: Dependable and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Appearance: Well-groomed and presentable, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
- Driving Skills: Valid driver’s license (if valet or driving services are required).
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth guest experiences.
