Responsibilities

  • Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer preferences. Ensure menu items are cost-effective and maintain profitability Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards.
  • Maintain high standards of taste, consistency, and presentation. Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are followed (e.g., HACCP standards). Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred). Professional Chef Certification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar culinary role.
  • Experience in menu creation, food cost control, and kitchen management. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage and train kitchen staff. Strong leadership and communication skills.
