Условия:

  • Зарплата: высокая — обсуждается в ходе собеседования от 3500-4000$.

Обязанности:

  • Systems administration
    • Provides and designs tools to assist in the management of the database and transaction processing environment.
    • Works to provide a working model of our transaction processing environment for capacity assessment and planning.
    • Develops a methodology for the ongoing assessment of database performance and the identification of problem areas.
    • Develops a security scheme for the database environment, as well as assisting in disaster recovery if necessary.
    • Provides leadership during the development and enhancement of the Bank’s production applications including working with applications, technical support and operations during the design, development and implementation of applications.
    • Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
    • Fulfils departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative
    • notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, or education.
    • Perform at or above the Bank’s Information Technology performance standards.
    • Develops and extends the Bank’s reputation as a state-of- the-art Information Technology
    • organization.
  • Vendor Management
    • Supervise the vendor staff System Administration activities in order to ensure that the work done is
    • in accordance with the SLAs and guidelines agreed between CBQ and the external service providers.
    • Lead the vendor contract management ensuring proper tracking of the contracts to facilitate effective system support.
    • Supervise and work closely with third-party vendors to enhance CBQ IT infrastructure for performance, robustness and stability.
    • Provide on-site support to vendors on IT infrastructure issues / requests in order to facilitate effective system support.
  • Continuous Improvement
    Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes
    and practices in order to facilitate cost optimization and productivity improvement.
    Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
    Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
    Statements and Reports
    Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ
    and department requirements, policies and standards.
    Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
    Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls
    are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental
    compliance can be guaranteed.
    Related Assignments
    Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Требования:

  • Образование: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Опыт работы: 5 years of programming experience, three with relational databases and transaction processing тsystems, preferably in the hardware and software vendor environment.
  • Знания и навыки:
    • Strong working knowledge of IT Database support.
    • Project management skills.
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
    • People management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
    • Good computer and MS office skills.
    • Arabic and English speaking preferred.
